Who We Are

We’re empowering Black girls and women to become changemakers through community, creativity, and leadership-driven experiences.

  • InvolvHER was created in 2022 with a simple but intentional mission: to equip Black and Brown girls with the leadership, advocacy, and community-building skills they need to take up space and make an impact.

    We believe leadership doesn’t start in boardrooms, it starts in the community. It starts in conversations, creativity, lived experiences, and the courage to speak up.

    Too often, Black and Brown girls are overlooked, underestimated, or pushed out of spaces meant to support them. InvolvHER exists to change that narrative.

    We don’t just teach, we inspire. Using culture, history, and real-life experiences, we create opportunities for girls and women to explore who they are, what they care about, and how they can move their communities forward.

  • Destiny Butler

    CO-FOUNDER

    Destiny Butler is a community advocate and educator committed to creating spaces where young women feel supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive. As Director of Programs, she leads the development of meaningful experiences that bring InvolvHER’s mission to life.

  • Imanie Williams

    CO-FOUNDER

    Imanie Williams is a passionate leader dedicated to building strong systems and sustainable opportunities for young women. As Director of Operations, she oversees the people, partnerships, and day-to-day work that keep InvolvHER moving forward.

  • Jailyn Neville

    DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MEDIA

    Jailyn Neville is a multimedia producer and digital strategist who uses storytelling to build community and amplify purpose-driven work. As Director of Digital Media, they shape InvolvHER’s digital presence through creative strategy, visual storytelling, and media production.

    SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

    Miracle Little is a creative communicator with a passion for connecting people through engaging digital content. As Social Media Manager, she brings InvolvHER’s voice to life online while celebrating its programs, community, and girls.
